Ingredients
Frozen or homemade fries – 1 lb (waffle, crinkle, or steak fries recommended)
Shredded cheddar cheese – 1 cup (or mozzarella, pepper jack)
Cooked bacon bits – ½ cup (or pulled pork, chili, grilled chicken)
Green onions – ¼ cup, chopped
Jalapeños – To taste (sliced, optional)
Ranch or chipotle mayo – 2 tbsp, for drizzling
Optional add-ons: diced tomatoes, avocado, caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, pico de gallo, fried egg
Instructions
1. Bake the Fries
Preheat oven or air fryer to 425°F (220°C). Spread fries in a single layer and bake:
Oven: 25 minutes
Air fryer: 15 minutes
Bake until golden brown and crispy.
2. Layer Cheese & Meats
Transfer hot fries to an oven-safe skillet or tray. Add shredded cheese and bacon or other protein. Place under broiler for 3–5 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
3. Add Toppings & Sauce
Sprinkle with green onions and jalapeños. Drizzle ranch or chipotle mayo on top. Serve immediately with extra dipping sauce on the side.

- Crispier fries? Bake twice: once at 350°F to cook, then again at 425°F for extra crunch.
