Description

These fluffy Choco Banana Pancakes are a real-world version of Snorlax’s favorite dessert in Pokémon Sleep. They’re naturally sweetened, rich in chocolate flavor, and packed with energizing ingredients—perfect for breakfast or a pre-workout snack.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 ripe banana (mashed)

  • 1 egg (or chia egg for vegan)

  • 1/3 cup blended oats (or oat flour)

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup milk (Moomoo, oat, or almond)

  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips (optional)

  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

1. Make the Batter
In a bowl, mash the banana, then whisk in the egg, vanilla, and milk.

2. Add the Dry Ingredients
Stir in oats, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix until smooth and let rest 5 minutes.

3. Cook the Pancakes
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat with a little butter or oil. Pour about 2 tbsp of batter per pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until fluffy and cooked through.

4. Serve Warm
Top with berries, yogurt, nut butter, or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

  1. Use a chia egg (1 tbsp chia + 3 tbsp water) for a vegan version.
  2. Add a pinch of cinnamon or protein powder for extra flavor and nutrition.
  3. These also make great mini pancake bites for kids or snacks!
