Ingredients
4 whole turkey wings, split at joints
1 large onion, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth, low-sodium
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp thyme (dried or fresh)
Salt & pepper, to taste
1 tbsp vinegar (optional, for soaking)
Optional Flavor Boosters:
Splash of Worcestershire sauce
Dash of cayenne or hot sauce
Instructions
Soak wings in 1 tbsp vinegar + 4 cups cold water for 30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.
Mix salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Rub over wings and rest 30 minutes.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high. Brown wings 3–4 minutes per side.
Layer onions and garlic in a baking dish. Place wings on top. Pour in broth. Cover with foil.
Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 2 hours.
Melt butter in a pan. Stir in flour and cook 1–2 minutes. Gradually whisk in pan juices from wings until smooth and thick.
Pour gravy over wings. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes until caramelized. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.
